I probably would crop out the bottom third. Did you use a filter?

Maybe some fill flash so that the shadow disappears.

I like the picture, but can't decide if it's too dark or not. Any

opinions? (Kodak TMAX440 @1600)

Antique car at 50's festival. Should I have used a different angle, or

shown more of the car?

Blame the loss of detail on the scanner. In the 8X10 I can count every little grass speck and leaf (if I wanted too). I suspect that the (old) HP scanjet IIcx doesn't have a high D rating, and converting the scan from 8X10 @300dpi to something like 350X550 pixels doesn't do much good either. If anyone knows about techniques or books that describe how to get better scans, please let me know.

Tried different prints, varying from light to dark. Settled on this

one.

Created this by first printing a regular pic on RC paper, then using

the print as the "negative" for contact printing. Kinda like the

sharp center and blurred edges. Any comments welcome

Just wondering what other people might think of this photo. ANy
