  1. I just found a very nice inexpensive bag to hold 4x5 film holders. It is an "embark insulated lunch bag" it will hold 6 or 7 holders

    comfortably and the insulation cushions them from bumps. Best of all it is available for under $ 5.00 at Target. In the camping

  2. Ilford (Harden) has just come out with a new direct positive paper in 4x5 and 8x10. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds

    interesting and might be less expensive than using film. Images would be reversed.

  3. I have been using my cell phone as people used to use a poleroid back, with my 4x5. I take a cell phone shot to set up

    the composition. If I don't like how the cell phone photo looks i don't bother setting up my large format camera. I also use

    a light meter application in the phone so I don't have to carry a separate light meter with me.
