1.
Hi,
I recently (april 2013) bought a few of these Dandilion chips from an eBay shop in Singapore.
For the people who like to change the aperture by using the ring on the (AIs) lens. There's an extra option available in the programming options. It is Option '60'. This allows you to toggle the aperture controle from camera body to lens ring and vice versa. This option is not allways documented in the programming instruction. I don't know if this option is allready available in the earlier chips.

This option '60' opens the range of all AI lenses for use on DSLR's that allow switching between camera dial and 'lens aperture ring' control in the A and M shooting mode.

There can be a small drawback however. Some AI lenses wil need a permanent (manually) EV correction. I'm looking around to see if anyone has found a solution to solve that "problem".
Should any of you have found a solution other then correcting the EV manualy on the camera body, I would be very happy if you'd let me know.

Best regards, Reg

 2.
Has anybody made an EV/aperture comparison between before and after chipping an AI (converted).
I've noticed that the 135/3.5 AI I've chipped needs a EV+1.5 correction compared to the lens before it was chipped (used as a "Non CPU lens" on my D700).
Both using the aperture ring on the lens to set the aperture value, NOT the dialcontrol on the camera (I allmost allways work in A mode).
And if so, did you find a permanent solution for this EV deviation? Meaning without a manual correction on the camera, which I usually forget ;-)

 3.
20/3.5 AI conversion (g)
85/1.8 AI conversion (g)
135/3.5 AI (m) EV unstable in 'G' mode. After toggle control option '60' stable but EV +1.5 overall.
300/4.5 AI conversion (g) must check EV in 'G' mode
MC Zenitar 16/2.8 AIS (m) small piece of (plastic) black protection plate must be removed.
