Not necessarily my favourite Mesa Arch shot but a little different

A windy morning erased any trace of footprints, but was a nightmare

I took this Feb 1 2003. Was walking back to the car after this shot
when a fellow photographer told me that Discovery had disintergrated
on re-entry.

This shot of a storm we had in Brisbane (Australia) was taken by a
friend on his point and shoot digital. I was reading the latest Nat.
Geo. and in the article on tornados they have a photo of a cloud
formation called the mother ship. This looks like the same formation.

No teleconverter. It was raining, and I noticed him while sheltering under a tree. Neither of us wanted to get wet so he allowed me to get close.

Not a captive shot.

Baby brushtail possum just out of the pouch.

Lovely colours. The sky is a bit over-polarized for my liking though.

Love it.Can see it as an advertising shot for something can't quite put my finger on what though.

If only the shaft of light was on the house.
To me this is the centre of interest but the brightly lit hillside keeps drawing my eye away from the house. Still a lovely shot though.
