I don't like the shadows against the wall, but this is also a problem I have with my wedding photography.  Still working on it....  

I would also crop out the arm on the left side, it will balance your photo a little bit more. 

I like this...  something I would love to put on my wall.

How cute is this.  :-)  The background is just a little bit distracting... it looks unreal, maybe that is what you went for.  I would have kept it more natural.  

Yes, the pants does take away from the photo, maybe try black and white. But I do think its a great photo.
