What a perfect macro subject, interesting and with the four front legs and face in nearly the same plane of focus. My main advice to improve the photo would be to crop it down because there's a lot of empty space. On one hand it's nice to see the whole leaf and especially the in-focus portion in the upper left, but the subject is striking enough on its own and would look better as a larger portion of the photograph. I'd try starting your crop box in the upper left corner just below the leaf edge, drawing it across almost to the dark area in the upper right, and then straight down. The result is more square-shaped, but your subject is facing into the frame and there's less open space. Nice shot!
