Thanks. Should I turn my flash all the way down? Sometimes when I do that, it washes out my pictures. Would it help if the flash was off the camera?

Thanks for the input. Looks like I have to get use at looking more at the little details. I do wish I had a lighter color shirt on so there was more contrast between the background.

I recently bought some strobes and I am playing how to use them. I

keep reading about different ways of set up. I have two strobes with

soft boxes. For this pictures, I had to use my on camera flash to

trigger the strobes but I had it turned all the way down. Any feedback

welcomed.

Not sure I am qualified to critique, but I like the depth you captured in the picture. I also like the contrast between the hat and the background.
