Interesting photo because of at least one reason. What happens when children disappear from the scene. The picture will be mystic because of the mist in background, very soft tones and yellow / green tint, but it will be an ordinary picture like hundreds before. Children are very important for this photo. They introduce some restlessness, they are from another story, but thanks to them the picture is not ordinary.

Why did you make this photo with a macro lens? What was the shutter time? I thing it was rather long. But if it was long then the apperture number was at least 22. Interesting combination used rather in night than day photography.

Now few words about the theme of the photo. Simply it is the next photo of a waterfall. Fine but not thrilling. Sorry, it's my point of view

The main power of this photo is its simplicity. A normal bird at a boring background. It is the first look on the picture. But if we look a little bit longer we can see the history that this picture shows. The main question is what the bird see among stones. It is exciting. The second look on the picture goes to the same place where the bird is seeing. And I cannot to find nothing interesting. But I can be wrong.

From the practical point of view, you shoud try to lighter the bird's head. But it is only advise. And mayby try to dim the background.
