I have looked through the rest of the answeres and as I am unaware of your experience I would like to sujest investing in a Zeiss Softar, their are a few good soft effect filters about from the likes of B+W, Cokin etc but the Zeiss will blow them all out of the water anytime hands down, only problem is the cost and the difference to the un-trained eye will not sell more photos.
