Hi Everybody,
I am going on a national geographic trip next week. I had back surgery about 6 weeks ago and I'm more weak than I'd like to be for this trip, but I'm going! Does anyone have a suggestion as to a good waist pack? I am going with my D800 which for me is always heavy. I primarily shoot in my studio with a tripod. Should I consider buying one of the new samsung cameras to make my trip more enjoyable? If so, which one. BTW<

Hi all,
I'm looking for advice about what studio lights to purchase. I am going to mainly be doing head shots for regular people who need them for LinkedIn, dating, etc. Hopefully, I'll do some actors and models too. I have a very bad back and almost gave up on my career in photography until I realized that I could just stick to studio work.
Now this is in my apartment so I do want to be able to roll them to another room when I have other visitors but I am lucky to have someone around to help me move them. I've worked with continuos lighting lately and really like the even, soft look you can get.
You can probably tell I am an advanced beginner but I am very ambitious and know that I am going to be successful. I have a couple thousand dollars to spend. I was thinking 2 continuos lights and 2 strobes. I already have a backdrop.
Help please! I have no idea what brands to go with and if for $3000 this is even possible. Thanks a lot. Lisa
