1.
If wanna buy lenses on a saturday, you can check the Calumet store at Chelsea. They also have a good used gear section. Other option is Best Buy, with less variety, though.
My lens suggestion would be a 24-120mm f4 VR. If you need/want, you can even use the DX crop and take pictures as you were using a 180mm.
If you want primes, you may try the AF-D ones: 20mm f2.8, 35mm f2 and 85mm f1.8. They're compact, light, I just don't know if their opctical quality do justice to the D800's sensor...

 2.
Well guess I'm lucky. I bought my D600 on the 1st day, and I've been using it with not too much dirt or spots on my images, and, I switch lenses a lot. I shot some 1000 images, and I did clean the sensor using a Sensorklear pen, but it has shown a lot less dirt than my former D7000 with the same usage. For me it's quite acceptable, until now.

 3.
Well, I can wait until September. I just hope that this new lens from Sony performs better than the 16mm pancake (which I don't find that bad...).

The Sigma doesn't look sooo big, at least from a video I've seen about it on Youtube.

I'm trying to assemble a kit for shooting landscapes with that camera. I thought about the Sigma and maybe other Alpha or even E-mount lenses, such as Sigma 19mm and Sony/Zeiss 24mm... though I find the last tooooo expensive...
Thanks for the comments... if you guys have more advice please share :)

 4.
Hi, this is my first post here. I've been using Nikon cameras, but recently I've bought a Sony NEX-7, and I love landscape photography and I have, use and love a Tokina 12-24mm f4 which I used on my D7000. Now I would like to buy a wide zoom for my NEX, and I don't know if I keep my Tokina 12-24+adapter, or, buy an Alpha adapter, and one of these lenses:
- Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-4.6
- Tokina 11-16mm f2.8
- Tamrom 10-24mm f3.5-4.5
The Sigma seems nice 'cause it's the wider of all, and Tokina seems good 'cause it is f2.8, and probably very sharp. I'm only affraid that Sigma has less IQ, and Tamrom too.
Could you guys help me on that?
Thanks in advance,
