Yes I agree but I dont have photo editing software so I cant really do any color correcting.  I think why the shot is so dull is caused by the fact that I had my exsopsure bias value set at 5.

I am only 14 and have only been into photography for a little over a year

so go easy but be truthfull thanks Derrick. I tried to make something out

of nothing.

It was at the edge of a pond so it was hard to get a good angle and I still need to get a tripod so something like that is wanted but something I cant get right now seeing as I am only fourteen.

I was trying to make contrast to maybe make a trashy near by pond into something sort of interesting. So I can agree its kind of odd.

I should have followed rule of thirds!

It does add some interest to the shot. But I think what makes this shot at least okay is the fact that the angle of the shot combined with the barbed wire fence makes you're eyes follow the fence to the back ground.

I agree with you I should have tried to get my depth of field right before I took the shot. But thats why I also took the other shot.

This is a good shot but seems to be a little blown out.

Hi Grayham thank you for the advise it really helped. I was aware of the blue line but was unable to fix it due to the fact that I have no editing software. I did this at a friends house using theirs and only saw the blue when I returned home and could not fix it. Again thank you for you're opinion and next time or whenever I get some software I will be sure to double check for things like  that. Thanks again.
