A beautifully captured depiction of the top of the world......nicely done!

The legend of the golden harvest is depicted with this photograph, the deep golden color of the setting sun and the shafts of wheat wagging in the summer breeze captured here, lets one understand where that legend came from.
Sometimes simplicity screams out at you -

I like the use of flash to separate the 280 from the back ground, I think I would have turned the front wheel to the right showing the wheel as opposed to the tire thread

-
Would have dialed back the exposure on the wall sconce's to direct the focus to the detail in the capture, focus is rather soft as well

Looks like the results of what N Korea keeps threatening to do. Would rather see this in color, I am sure it is just as dramatic

I submit this photograph in hopes that it will be recognized and commented
on in an effort to better my craft, your time is appreciated

This was shot in Munising MI the cliff pictured here is roughly 70 ft
up and the ice hanging from the top were some 35 ft long, this made
for an amazing shot, hope you like it as much as I do and your
comments are always apprecitated

Personally I think I would have the background a bit darker tone which would help contrast the subject matter, but I guess that is a personal choice.

A timeless photograph with experience oozing from the thickly mustached mans eyes, nice lighting enhancing the wrinkles of time.
