A shot of sand pipers at the beach. They run down after a wave and
return quickly after searching for food. Curious and amusing to
watch. Please offer critique or comments, thank you.

Thank you Amy, Les and Victor, it was a pleasure to look at your portfolios.

surreal. reminds me of Dali. :)

This has been in my favorites for some time now. Very striking, not something I get tired of. Makes me want to travel.

This is cropped from a shot with a 50mm 1.4 and a speedlight was
used on a low setting with ETTL. Thank you for viewing.

Thank you Per. This is the easy shot (they are used to me). The tough shots are getting them when jumping or taking off. I have so many near misses and hope eventually to get it right :)

I shot this with a 50mm 1.4 With this have to get closer. After
spending time with them I can now get within 4' and sit on the
ground. Hopefully the best shots are still to come. Please offer
critique. Thanks for viewing

Thanks Tommy. I find it a bit intimidating to post here because I am not technically proficient as many here, either in my shooting or post. I do learn through the process and that's what counts for me. In this case I burnt the shadows in, maybe too much.

thank you for input. It helps to have another's opinion, as I am just learning and it seems subjective.

I did two edits. Which do you prefer, if any? Thanks for comments.
