thank you for you feedback, actually it happened so fast, there was no time for a tripod, so the quality suffered quite a bit.

that hummingbird came flying into my home one night, it must have been chased by some animal outside, some of its feathers were a bit weird. So it just stayed inside, panicked at the beginning. We offered him water in a bowl, and then in an apple to make it look nicer on the pic ;-) and it didn't wanna leave anymore. We put him outside, it flew back in twice, then stayed on the balcony all night long :-) Great experience for sure !

I love to see portraits that capture the real nature of a person, not trying to make them fit into a modern "how-a-portrait-has-to-be" scheme. I totally like it !

Is this a bracketed HDR ? If it is, I love how you manage to keep it natural, not exagerated, just the way it was. If it's not HDR, even more respect for managing to keep the sky AND the bridge the same exposure !
