Found a couple Yashiica Electro 35's while cleaning out a family members house. Anyone know anything about them? Pretty common I think.
Thanks,

I had the same issue with the local Rx prints....I then sent the same image to Mpix and it came back looking perfect. I will always go with the quality labs over the Rx's from now on.

Hi. I was wondering about what options are available not only for storing pics but for sharing them as well. I have shot lots of pics of my son's soccer teams that i would like to share with the other parents. Is there a site where i can upload and share "folders" or "albums"? Any thoughts or recommendations would be most welcome.

Thanks

Truth be told, I'd rather learn and use my new DSLR than buy a P&S, or use the old one i have. Know what I mean?
Thanks everyone.

Andy - not macro was just an assumption. maybe it can do what i want, i just never thought of photographing fishing lures (all sizes) as macro work. That is an error on my part i am sure! still a newbie.
Matt - yes...the problem is can't focus close enough some times. and by tripod...do you mean a mini tripod? that would definitely be the smart thing to buy.

i am sure most if not all of my problems come from lack of experience! i guess my knee jerk reaction is to think get a new lens when maybe i should use what i have but make sure the lighting, settings, tripod, etc are correct first.
FYI - using a Nikon D3100

Hello,

Newbie question here. I am looking for a reasonably priced lens to do close up work, not macro. Any suggestions? I will be photographing fishing lures alone and in groups and my kit 18-55mm lens is just not cutting it. There are so many lenses out there it's quite overwhelming. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks,
