Intense pure yellow, excellent detail. the color contrast pops to the eye. Artistically not sure what the picture says.
Regards.

Seems over-saturated to me. Almost like a painting style.

Is it really possible to capture this ? I am having a hard time believing this ... Did you shoot from another plane ? Can you explain if this is an actual image ?

Paul, Would you have gotten out of the car to take this shot. ? , Probably not, Would you have known if he didn't tell you the secret. ? probably not... I think he has an award shot, and you proably not... Either way, the method does not matter if you have a result.
Fantastic Shot Marsel !!!!!!!

Hi, I have to note that Death Valley is one of my favorite places to photograph. The reason I chose this image to critique.
Great job. I have shot this in color but did not think of converting to B&W. good thinking. It just seems a little oversharpened for my taste, but that's me.

This is a scan from the actual paper print. Processed in the B&W
Darkroom. Can you tell me the story ? whatever comes to mind.
Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated.
thx

This is my first RA-4 Print Session. Density is ok, but to me the picture
lacks contrast, colors are off. What color filtration correction would I
need to improve this print. How else can I improve this print ?, its
contrast and colors etc. See forums (darkroom , printing and finishing
forum) for more in-detail explanation of what I used. In there , there is
also a sample of a print processed correctly to compare.
By the way, this is a Kodak moment at DisneyWord Orlando FL. 2009

Maury,
You should make sure you have this image copyrighted ! , if you designed this shot yourself and this was not coincidence, I have to say you are gifted. To be able to recognize this outcome. ! It is fantastic what you created. It had me guessing the wrong idea just like many . after a few seconds of staring at it, it hit me . The gave away was the long hair and then I saw the mouth deep in shade. I turned my face , it was now clear.
This would make perfect and successful Advertising. !!! even though I can think more of European type of advertising more than here in US. it may be controversial here but successful in other cultures. Italy comes to mind right away. !!
Good Luck

I've seen your work. First of all ; its nothing short of spectacular. !!
However, some of them don't look like photographs, but more like Paintings. Is this because you do extreme digital retouch to get the punch you get, or do some of them happen to actual photos of paintings. My intention is not to offend, I honestly hope I haven't done so, but more of real curiosity on how you get your such eye catching art work. !!! Any tips for us greatly appreciated. !
Congrats

Nice idea. Beautiful model. How did you get her to agree to get in the water... ? LOL
Technically ; I see some awful noise in the background, is that due to High ISO used I guess ?
last questions: what is the idea behind your picture ? what does it say ?

It seems crocket , and too bad you have cranes in the background. Another point that clearly does not jive is the colors. You have blue skies and green waters. That's usually not the case. For the most part, the water will reflect the sky colors. they seem too distant in this case. Last observation is the noise, it has been pronounced even at this small size.
