Full of drama. The photo and title made me want to know more. Where was this taken. I like the dark and dreamy tone of the photo. I wondered if it lacked a focal point. Well done.

Fun photo with great colors and repetition. Made me wonder what that thing is... a bridge? Bravo.

Reals makes me stop and wonder. There's something about the crop that makes it feel like he has a REALLY big head. :) But overall it's great and kudos for getting the shot.

John, thanks so much for the encouragement and the technical details on how I might improve the photo. I'm really enjoying walking through the steps you gave.

I tried to edit out the flare in the middle. Not sure how noticeable that is or how I might do a better job.

I did some simple adjustments to make this more of a silhouette and
also make the sun brighter. I'm wondering if cropping or something
else might help it. Any ideas are appreciated.

John, this photo really caught my eye since the sun is so effective. It always seems to me that taking pictures of the sun or the moon is disappointing because they end up so small in the photo. By focusing on the foreground you solved that problem. I love it. The horizon does seem tipped to me. It must be an optical illusion. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Mike. You can see the original image here: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Z632KBR8g6Je5CMerz5LW9MTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink
I shot some with the sun right behind the guy on the rock but this picture was more pleasing.

Thanks, Mike! The camera's doing the heavy lifting. I'm just doing what it tells me to! :)

I braced the camera on a chair if I recall correctly.

Caught my eye. I wanted to see her face highlighted. And wondered about the strange thing in front of her arm. Beautiful photo.
