1.
From my latest info, the shutter will be available in march, but the start date of sale has been already reported few times.
I've also heard that the fastest shutter speed will be reviewed lower with 1/125s max, by Rodenstock. (just like Sinar eShutter)
In term of trigger, what i'm searching for is an input trigg which fires the shot. (in addition with the X-synch). X-synch gives signal to external for synchro, like flash. But how can I input any signal to synchronize the shutter?

 2.
Not really, I'd like to create a computer drive, to make synchronized shots with a sensor detection (like motion sensor). Also with repeatability, and all automatized.
-> software configuration (aperture/speed), calculated from a light sensor.
-> hardware trigger (electrical), from a motion sensor.
What do you think?

 3.
Hi Bob,
I've studied the Rodenstock e-shutter a little better.
Do you know if it can be trigged by an electrical TTL signal (not from the USB connection)?
I've a specific synchronisation controller, that I 'd like to use.
I mean hard trigg is better than soft trigg.. so that..

 4.
Hello

I would get a Rodenstock lens "Digaron W-50mm f / 4", with a Rollei-electronic shutter of size 1 (speed 1/500).

My problem is that I want to use this lens with a computer shutter control (drived with a program).
I didn't a topic on the Rollei e-shutter...

I know there is a control box Rollei, which controls the shutter speed and the trigger, but I don't know if it's possible to do this from a computer program.
Anyway, I will not buy this shutter if I cannot drive it myself. Maybe there are other shutters with same performances wich could work well. (Advices and discussions are welcome)

Does anyone have experience with Rollei e-shutter?
