I agree, the original seems best so far. But it might benefit from less color change/correction than was shown as option. I didn't notice the horizon off until that was stated. It might actually help create the effect of the viewer feeling like a small, awed presence, near the precipice of a big, powerful world
The mists give great depth. The suggested variation here helped. I'm looking for a view of field and trees like this, but perhaps with different colors &/or scene.
I like the photo. But wondered what would happen with a little more light on the dark areas toward the back of his head. Tried that in photoshop. It improved the view of the head. But it decreased the nice contrast from back light source. I think I would leave it like it is.
