More confused !!!
According to Nikon the sound is normal...
https://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/15856/~/how-do-i-know-if-the-vibration-reduction-(vr)-on-my-lens-is-working%3F
The best way to see and test Vibration Reduction operation is to zoom the lens to it's longest position (i.e. 200m), make sure the lens' VR is turned "On", look through the lens and focus on a subject about 10 feet away.
Next, move your finger from the shutter release button (this will stop the VR) and try to hold the camera as still as you can while looking at the subject through the viewfinder. Notice how the subject moves around in the viewfinder due to your slight camera movements. After a few seconds (and without taking your eye from the viewfinder) half-press the shutter release to re-activate VR. You will now see the image freeze and remain much more stable than with the VR off.
You may also hear a slight 'clicking' noise from the lens when the half switch is pressed and the VR module is activated. This clicking noise is perfectly normal, and can be expected. Different lenses will produce a slightly different click, some are a little more audible, some less audible, this is also normal. Through the viewfinder, the image may move slightly when the VR activates or deactivates, this is also perfectly normal. You should not switch off camera power while your VR unit is engaged. Let go of the Shutter button and allow the VR unit to disengage before switching off the camera. Failure to do so may result in a slight rattle sound in the lens.
While Nikon Vibration Reduction is an effective technology, it cannot stop all camera movement, nor does VR stop any subject movement. It can, however, allow slower shutter speeds than you could use without VR and enable photography otherwise impossible.
For more information, please click here.

 2.
So this is my 1st DSRL FX after I sold my F100 about 10 years ago.I need to get used to this new gadget, but I got a Tokina Macro 100mm 2.8 and works fine as a portrait lens very fast but when I tried to use as macro, insects.flowers etc...This lens hunt for focus forever.Don't know if is user error or the lens, also sometimes doesn't go to 2.8 only 3.0.

Thank you

Yeah seems easy but I can't decide.

Thanks in advance.

 5.
I'm debating right now,on selling my stuff, well I already posted here on the classified section, but I think if I sell them I will regret it,even though I have no time for picture taken ( I work 6 days a week ) My ONLY day off is Sunday and the last thing I want is to go out to take pictures, PLUS I got myself into other Hobby ( Collecting Statues ) Those sometimes are very expensive.
My gear has been in my closet for quite sometime now, sold my F100 couple years back now I have 3 AFS lens left and about 8 filters.
Right now I'm using a PowerShot SD850 IS 8.0 MP which I got it for free,so I can't complain and suits my needs for now,but I miss a nice DSLR with some nice AFS lens.:(

Bummer don't know what to do.
