1.
Hi all,

Hoping to get your assistance please. I'm interested in learning about all of the popular Photoshop touch-up techniques for digital photography, especially those centered around portrait photography. I already have basic-intermediate Photoshop skills but want to refresh and build upon my knowledge.

Can anyone please recommend free tutorials/courses available online that will assist me? There just seem to be so many out there and I'm sure half of them are useless, so am hoping that others might already
know of some good ones?

Thanks for your help,
2.
Hi all,

Hoping to get your feedback on some good portrait lenses to buy for my Canon EOS 40D.

I have recently purchased this camera second hand, and intend to practise a lot and eventually start up a small portrait photography business.

The camera came with an EF 50mm f/1.8 lens, but I am wanting to purchase another couple of lenses to cover the range I will need. I am interested in photographing families, children and babies from a distance of, say, a few feet to full body shots (including several people). I like the effect of having a blurred background so am assuming I would need something with a relatively large f-stop (say between 1.8 - 3.2). I also am on a limited budget so don't have a huge amount of cash to spend (but would consider any opinions!).

The one I was looking at was the EF 70-200mm f/1.8 (although it's probably out of my price range). Are there any others that will do a good job for a smaller price? I really do want to take high quality photos if possible without compensating on the quality of the lens.

Appreciate your feedback,

 3.
Hi all,
Hoping to get some help in regards to my Canon EOS 40D.
I've just purchased it second hand and can't find details anywhere on how to reduce the size of images, once uploaded onto my computer, and email out the smaller sized files. I have uploaded all the photos, yet the software doesn't seem to have a function where I can do this? I am using the EOS Utility software. Is there something else that I need to download to email images, or will I have to do it manually (reduce files in Photoshop then email them myself)?
Thanks for your help,
Virginia.
