    Hi Brian, thanks for your comments. I was lucky enough that this parent Blue Jay was very quietly making sure the coast was clear to feed it's fledgling in a corner of my garden. I shot this through a glass door so I wouldn't disturb it. I've been trying to tell one Jay apart from the other for months now, their white feather spots are different on each bird. I still don't know the Male from Female! You're right, they're so quick I rarely get a good shot!
