I hadn't been to the beach in a while. So I brought my camera.
Approximately 2 second exposure.

My first day with my new reverse lens macro setup.

The only great building within 20 miles. Thanks for looking!

I've always liked this trick and have never tried it. I've been an amateur
photographer for over 20 years and finally gave it a shot. Let me know what
you think.

No one designs great looking cars anymore. I took this at a street festival
in my town. You can see the people in the bumper. I burned in the
background to keep the focus on the car and its lines.

Terrific composition and perfect tones. Much more interesting than a wide shot. Great job!

This is a photo I took with my new Canon 60D. I kind of like the hint of
human presence. Also, the modern art created by simple graffiti
covering. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

30 second exposure. Laser light thrown across the model.

It does get kind of cold here in the Winter. But not too cold.

It's a boring drive, but when you get up above it, it's quite pretty.

My nephew is never seen without at least two toy cars in his hands.

I took this picture for the November 2011 Monthly Photo Project. I did not
submit it in favor of a more original picture. But I still wanted you all to see
this one.

I took this picture a couple of years ago. I've been revisiting some old
photos. I did some color work on it to bring out the beautiful greens that I
remembered when I took the picture.

It is both soft and bold. The haze was a fortuitous weather condition that "makes" the picture. Maybe that field has haze every day. Either way, I'm glad. Well done.

Inspired by a previous critique of another photo using this method, I
attempted to remove distractions from the scene. This is a 30 second
exposure. A laser was used to "paint" the light.

Thanks Matthijs,
Part of what I like about it is that the human figure is not immediately apparent. However, You've given me a push to try to remove all surroundings and see how that goes.

30 second exposure. Laser light thrown about the subject to reveal
contours.

Beautiful! It looks like a painting that looks like a photograph but it's a photograph that looks like a painting.

I would want a picture of me in that position. It would be a constant reminder of my close bond with my mother. And believe me, I need a reminder. I think it's lovely. Also unfortunate that it must be posted under the nude category. Nice work. I can't find a flaw.
