1.
Hello,
I shot a series of photos on 35mm film and had a few printed out at 20x30 and mounted onto aluminum. I wasn't to satisfied with the print and when I looked at the 4x6 test I had done I noticed that the blacks were much deeper and the whites much brighter.
My question is: Does enlarging a photo decrease the contrast?
I would say no it shouldn't, but I'm confused on to why my larger photo is so gray. Could it be the aluminum which it is mounted to? Did the photo lab screw up? Am I going crazy?
Please help me.
