Thanks for all of your responses but I tried everything you guys told me to do
and the camera keeps making this "weezing" noise and it's not focusing. I put
the limiter switch to "full", set the settings differently, cleaned the contacts and
still no focusing. The lens is not the silent wave version is the 2-ring lens.
Thanks for all the responses.

I just bought a used F5 and when i couple it with my Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 AFD,
the version with the tripod mount, the F5 don't autofocus. It only makes a noise
as if trying to engage the lens' motor for autofocus but it never does. This
lens, however, works perfectly fine with my N90s and with an F100 i borrowed
from a friend. The weirdest thing is that when I couple my lens with a 2x
Kenko teleconverter, the F5 is able to autofocus!!!!! I took my camera and lens
to several dealers and they're baffled by this oddity. I contacted nikon and
they told me to send the camera to them for inspection. I will as soon as I get
money. I'm suspecting there's something wrong with the contacts in the lens
that it's not compatible with the camera. Can you guys direct me to solve this
problem? One more thing, my F5 focus perfectly with my 24-120 and a friends'
80-200 silent wave. What's wrong?????
Color or BW wedding? when to use which?

I just shot my first digital wedding about a week ago in black and
white. I wasn't the main photographer but decided to try some new
ideas and document the wedding like a photojournalist. I just want to
get your opinions as to how to know when to use B&W or color. I
posted the selected images from my shoot on <p>

and it would be nice if you could provide some input as to what went
wrong and what went right and if BW looks good or if color would have
been better.
Thanks a lot,
