<p>I know this was years ago, but in case anyone else is searching and finds this. The problem is most likely that when you have the cover plate off the shutter assembly, together with the middle lens element, you also have the brass timing ring off which controls the shutter speed, so it's permanently on T. You'll notice that by the shutter release are two levers that each have a triangle sticking up, those triangles control T and B and must fit into one of the cut-outs on the timing ring, when the ring is turned, first one then both are pushed outboard. You can test that this is the problem by gently pulling the two triangles outward while the shutter is open, it should immediately close.</p>
