This is a pregnant male. ( The males carry the babies!) The seahorses
are in a 72 gallon tank. Sometimes depending in the time of day, the
reflections on the tank and lighting inside the tank create some very
dramatic effects. They are also difficult to photograph because they
are always moving around. This one was shot with an f1.8 50mm prime
lens on a Nikon D5100.

I took a series of sea horse pics one night. They are truly amazing
creatures to me. In This one, I turned on a ceiling light to the right
of the aquarium which created the orange reflective dots and back
lighting on the seahorse. i the colors. What do you think?
