Of course, you might be able to get enough front shift with a 4x5 camera and 6x12 back (using a lens with a big image circle) to keep the walls from falling over - that would look spectacular. I doubt a TS lens for your Canon would give enough rise.
I like the way the ascending person strengthens the upwards viewpoint. Well seen!
