I would have loved to watch this action unfold! Never heard of a coyote gone fishin' before.

Very nice!

I love it! Added it to my favorites. :o) The orange around the sun looks a bit over saturated, but it's pretty minor and doesn't really detract from the image. The composition is excellent. Makes me want to take my Mustang there for some fun. Good job!

I enjoy the content and composition of this shot. I would put an enlarged version of something like this up in my garage, for sure.
I do think there's just a bit too much unfocused area. I would f/stop down to increase the DOF as far as perhaps the seat post. However, I do like the bokeh masking the background. If bringing the seat post into focus brings too much detail into the background then I would probably keep this DOF (or just a little bit more), and compensate by making the derailleur a bigger, more prominent part of the shot. I think the lighting is great!
Just my two cents (worth half a cent when adjusted for my photography experience).

Wow, that's really too bad Alex. I wish you could see the wonders of childhood. The curiosity, the adventure, the innocence - no responsibilities, no worries, no bills, no stress. To this little girl, here entire world in that moment is just her and a beach in need of exploring. If I could let go of all thoughts of "these tasks needs to get done, those bills needs to get paid..." and instead just go out and explore the world, I would do it in a heartbeat. To me, this photo speaks of exactly that, so I would absolutely display it.

While the HDR image does carry some extra detail in the shadows, and livens up the orange in the rock a bit, I prefer the brightness of the green foliage in the original better. If you could get the rock from the right and the foliage from the left together in one that would be right on. (IMHO)

Rick, that is very profound - and sobering, as you said.
This photo is all about the girl and the beach. Look at the sand - wiped clean by the surf - pure, pristine, unmarked by man. The surf - uniform, clean, unobstructed. I assume we can say the same of the little girl - pure, innocent, unaware of man's dark side. The DOF does a great job of emphasizing this sense, but in my opinion the "evidence of man's presence" at the top needs to be cropped out to keep that continuity.

Is that the U-bahn in Munich? I feel like I've been there before.
Anyway, I love the composition!
