Nice soft focus with sharpness on the right points. Very pleasing with the dark background. Thank You for sharing.

A nice composition. I would brighten the shadows a bit and enhance slightly.

While kayaking this loon dives nearby.

Most loons I have encountered are great performers and this guy is no
exception.
-
This loon appeared out of the early morning mist and nearly "popped" into
my kayak. Taken with wet camera and lens.

A fantastic image. The timing, the exposure, the sharpness, the background, the patience ... to me perfection. A metaphor for spiritual redemption. Just beautiful! I have enjoyed your portfolio. Thank You

I can see the forest through the trees. I like it and the contrast between the dark tree trunks and the soft tones of the leaves pull me into the scene. I want to go further and explore. Thank You for sharing

I think the image interesting but disturbing. A good composition but signifies to me, an environment devoid of life. The hands reaching for the intangible create a sense of hopelessness that predominates. The image speaks with a vital force.

I have been drawn back to this image . It is beautifully composed and has the surrealistic essence I think much of the California landscape portrays and you have captured so well. Maybe soon, in the near future, every day will be "Earth Day" Thank You

I think it's beautiful. The composition and colors are great.

I think the words are "Consider the lily". I think you did quite nicely. Your rendition is soft and yet (not sure how to say this) ... straight to the point. I like it! Thanks for sharing

A special place ... a frozen moment ... solstice blues

This has a calming effect on me. It leads me in and around the rocks. Good lines and I like the colors and textures. Very nice image!

I love early the early morning misty, dreamy light. That is my time for reflection.
Thanks for looking.

I love the winter weeds and I remember when ... A great composition and perhaps the days are coming again .....?

Sadness fills my heart for what is happening throughout the world. This candid image
of little Sophia is a reminder to me that there is always a light in the dark. Thank You
for your time.

Great photo, with perhaps rare arcs. I recently photographed something like this but got a different perspective. The humans and shadows work for a good composition.

Beautiful and nostalgic. Like a pen and ink. The composition works for me. Thank You

I return to photograph Dixville Notch over & over. This has become my mountain and
a place that I love. I see the textures, shadows, shapes and how the seasonal light
defines these things. I am passionate about good light and this image taken in the
low, northern, solstice light creates a mood that pulls both landscape & light together in
a way that keeps me seeking that vision that continues to inspire me.

Your depth of field and overall composition is great. The beach of cool tranquility juxtaposed with the warm icy tones together with the contrasting softness and sharpness makes a life statement to me. It pulls me in and I want to keep going. No snapshot here ... this is art!

A special place to be alone but not lonely. I think your composition and color is perfect. Thanks for sharing this wonderful image.
