Filters for underwater video in Video Posted March 7, 2001 My brother-in-law was diving last weekend with his JVC DVX-4 in natural light (i.e. without a special strobe attachment). His video film shows a very dominant blue-green color in comparison to another diver who used what looked like an orange filter to produce a clearer result. What might this filter be (brand, color) and would you recommend its use (and under what conditions)? Will it reduce by much the amount of light reaching the video camera?
