<p>My favorite is the one I don't own but bought for someone else: the FM2. The feel and weight seemed perfect. I have an F3HP that takes wonderful shots (it's probably the old 43-86 zoom I use), but I've never been crazy about the feel of the camera - - and the meter freezes in cold weather. Lastly, I have one of the late Nikkormats (an FT3); I purchased it in a gigantic thrift store that sells mostly clothes. It came with a pristine f2 Nikkor lens and its meter is pretty much dead, but it's a lovely thing and it was a steal: $59.</p>
