    Dan and Hrvoje, thanks for your comments. I agree about the mic, ideally is shouldn't have been in the frame. Maybe cropping it out would be better, though some more of the guitar would be lost. I'd hate to crop that beautiful Gibson Les Paul from the bottom though!

    Though I wish the mike wasn't in the frame and the guitar wasn't

    cropped, I like this one as it shows the dynamism of a Chris Cain

    performance. How else could it be improved?

    Ilford SFX is exactly what I had in mind for this - unfortunately I couldn't find any at my local pro photo store before I left on this trip. Next time it's definitely on my agenda! Thanks for your comments.
