I love black and white photos. More so then in color. But there is one thing I
struggle with is the contrast. So I was hoping for some insight, I adore
black and white and would love to be able to do them in a way that is
appealing to the eye. So please some insight would be greatly appreciated.
What do you think and what advise can you give? Thank you so much for
taking the time to respond.

I agree with you to an extent. i was making do with the equipment i had on hand. There was little to now sun and the only lighting i had was a flash, I also brought a strobest set up, My camera is supposed to be able to fire it, But I wasnt able to get it set up and working properly :0( I had a tripod, And two different sized reflectors in 4 colors. Please tell me what you would have done. I am looking into seeing how to get my camera to fire the strob, My shoots are basically little trials, Before I decide to dig my head in deep.
Thanks for your time

THose of you out there who have done this before, That is whom I am
looking for. I have never done anything like this before,. This was my
second time working with a model and the added stress of natural light
was a double whammy. Other then the fact that I will be bringing
reflectors next time. What else can i do to get a better result? Any and
all C&C is welcome. There is another shoot coming up so I am looking
for advise from the more Knowledgable in this matter
Thank you for your time.

I was unfortunate not to have a reflector handy.Tho I have recently stashed one in the trunk of my car. This was my second photoshoot not involving my children, And then the added struggle of natural lighting was a first for me.So I am surprised some of the photos came out as well as they did. I have mostly focused on wildlife and landscaping so i found this to be very interesting,. And I cant wait to try it again. There will be another photoshoot soon which is why I am asking for advise. This one I went in blind and came out okay, Though next time I will know what to expect and will come out better, Thank you for your kind words.I have only been doing photography for a few months and I love it.,
There will be new work to follow soon So stay tuned and again thank you for the kind words

The natural lighting thing was much harder then I thought it would be.I think next time I will bring along a reflector or two. I think It would come in handy. There were several times When I wished that I had one.
Thank you for the kind word. You time is much appreciated.Happy photos

I put these out there to get opinions and to learn. Your opinion is one of many. I do not think it is harsh rather a learning tool for me.Everything helps.all these little considerations that you share if taken into consideration can help me create a better photo. So I thank you for taking the time to share your opinions with me.As was stated this was a first time for two different task at one time..So i found it mind boggling. So again thank you much appreciated.

better? Have another shoot coming up so any insight would be appreciated,
