1.
Thankyou
I've looked at both the Tokina and Canon lenses, but they are priced well over my budget (also sigmas and tamrons). I've been looking at the peleng 8mm, which is built for aps-c cameras, and it is reasonably priced.
I'd much rather a lesser quality (to an extent) and inexpensive lens, so then if I get sick of the fisheye look, it is not as much of a waste of money :)

 2.
I've gotten quite interested in fisheye photography and I was looking to buy a Zenitar f2.8/16mm lens (with a canon mount), to go on my 400D. I've been researching fisheye lenses, and I've come across a few people/sites who say that fisheyes don't work (or don't have the same effects) on cameras with reduced-size sensor. I'm a bit confused by this - I was wondering whether it will be worth buying the lens at all, as I am not certain if I can even achieve the fisheye effect with it.
I also have to buy the lens online, as it isn't available to purchase where I live, so I can't test it for myself. And then if I DO buy it, and it isn't what I expected, I probably won't be able to exchange/refund the lens.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
