<p>Well - I bought mine yesterday from a local dealer for a song and a sixpence. Cant wait to get it and see how it compares to the Yashicamat for quitness and to the Hassy for sharpness in real life.</p>
Aperture ring won't turn (50mm FD lens)

<p>James, you say the aperture ring does not turn and the lens does not mount on your adaptor anymore? What about mounting on a Canon camera and then try auto aperture mode and set f22 and see if the lens stops down when firing the shutter? </p>
<p>Did you press the tab to move it off "A"? </p>
<p>Which part is stopping the lens moving on your adaptor - does it even mount flat before turning? </p>
