    2x Converter on FD 35-105mm F3.5 macro

    I have picked up the above lens and an AE-1 with a 50mm F1.8.

    I would like to know If I purchase a 2x converter for the camera if

    it will work with the 35-105mm lens. If so, will images suffer other

    than changes in stops? Any brands that are suggested or best to

    avoid?
