Hi Mike.  My eye was most drawn to this image in your portfolio particularly because I love the contrasts portrayed here.  The texture of the pavement is lit just well enough to not be distracting and yet still gives the image the contrast of nature vs man that attracts viewers like me.  In addition to the appeal of the loss of light, the neutral colors in the pavement and the doorway are essential to leading the viewer's eye through the doorway toward the beauty of colors in nature.  With that said, perhaps the blue in the sky could be ensured, whether through the use of a neutral/graduated neutral density filter on camera, or even up the highlights tool in post production; a pleasant shot overall.
