<p>I left Printroom in 2010. In August of that year I realized they were behind several months on profit checks. I got the run around for a couple of months. Finally, I wrote them an email and told them they had two weeks to pay up or I would contact the Attorney General of California and the United States Attorney for their district, since we had a contract that was signed over the web, putting them in violation of federal wire fraud laws.</p>

<p>It occurred to me that due to the subjects in my galleries, they might think I actually knew the AG of California at the time (Jerry Brown, I didn't). I got all my money within a few weeks.</p>

<p>I moved on to Smugmug, am very happy and tend not to look back.</p>

<p>Seriously folks, there are way better alternatives to Printroom. If you're still with them, get out now. And you don't need an attorney to go after them. Wire fraud laws cover the web.</p>

<p>Yikes. I just stumbled upon this thread after running a search on Printroom problems. I too am owed money. I shoot fundraisers for specialty clients and hadn't done any for awhile, so I wasn't aware of the troubles. I've shot three events this summer and suddenly found something amiss. No check in August for July profit. Slow fulfillment. <br>

Talked to them today and was promised the check would be sent out.<br>

I'm now looking at other alternatives like SmugMug and Zenfolio. Anyone using these?</p>
