The bridge that crosses the River Mersey at Widnes.

No climbing allowed. Considering its a long way down to the river from

here I would have thought a warning was unnecessary.

With tree bark instead of skin, and eyes to match.

PS., she is far prettier than this in real life.

The Riverdance cargo ship ran aground on the Lancashire coast last

year. The hulk of the ship was gradually dismantled at low tide whilst at

high tide the sea continued to batter the wreck into submission.

The derelict hulks of forgotten boats slowly fall to rot and ruin on the

sands of Fleetwood on the Lancashire coast.

Once proud arches at Trentham,now overrun with weeds and fallen into

decay and ruin.

Thank you for the comments so far. Vikings believed that when they died, particularly in battle, their spirits went to stay with the gods in the hall of Valhalla, which is in Asgard and is the home of Odin. To reach this they had to travel across Bifrost, the rainbow bridge.
