Thanks for the critiques everyone.  About the sharpness...A lot of my photos come out like this, just a tiny bit fuzzy...anyone know why I'm getting this?  Is it a depth of field problem (not quite enough so the toes in front look out of focus)? or is it due to my shooting handheld?

"A skillfull and accomplished Photoshop artist/technician cold possibly create the above image starting with a blank screen..."

That's what I'm not sure I like.  It seems like when you PS something to that extent it really isn't photography anymore.  But I have to admit that this picture looks better when the offending stick is removed...as I'm sure most pictures do when they are touched up a little bit.  It still seems like small steps down the slippery slope.

Hey guys, thanks for the love.  I do have a pic of what is on the other side that I'll post it tomorrow.  It's a squirrel tree frog clinging to the back of a stem for a sabal palm tree.  The actual frog I must admit was not as photogenic as just his feet were.

Yeah I agree that is much better.  Still trying to figure out what is possible in PS.  How much editing is normally done to the photos posted on this site?

Hey Mike, that's a good suggestion.  I'm not sure my photoshop skills are up to the task but I'll give it a try and if it turns out well I'll update the photo.  Thanks for the critique.
