Wonderful image of one of my favorite places!

This is a wonderful image. I'm so glad to see a shot from photo.net on the cover of a major photography magazine. Well done!

If you hadn't have said this photo was taken in Utah, I would have sworn it was shot at Oak Creek Canyon in Arizona with Bell Rock in the background.

Playing arouond with my Canon N67OU. Placed images on scanner bed and
shot the image at 300 DPI in "Color Photo" mode.
The larger image I see has full-length verticle bands running through
the image. How do I get rid of that banding?
I saw this technique in American Photographer, and thought I would
give it a try. I like it.

Nice idea, but way too much contrast.
-
Looks like something from a 1970s movie.
-
Foreground and trees too dark for my taste.
-
This I recognize...

I don't know what this is a picture of, but I like it.

The shadow is a bit high for me. I would like it to match the stair rail.

Nice lighting.

Breathtaking. Amazing view.
-
Good composition. Whites washed out a bit on the left.
-
Wonderful view. Great color, strong composition.
-
Tranquil, smooth scene.
-
Amazing color. Was this added in PhotoShop?

I am staying in Rosslyn and just shot a photo of the memorial. Mine will not be as dramatic as this! Excellent image, and congrats on realizing what a fog can do!

Wonderful colors, great scene.

Nice sky, but I think cropping the road out would make for a better composition.
-
I like this a lot. Looks like a Flash Gordon movie set.
-
Wonderful colors!
-
Nice shot, but the lens flare is distracting.
