The street dogs that who have established somewhere in a fixed location are "adopted" by the (human) neighbors. That dogs are vaccinated, castrated (ups!) and protected from dog catchers even they live freely on the street.

Nice ideea and almost "real": as the first impression - I was thinking the picture was taken as it is because the natural position of the boy and also because the background which is so "vertical"...

    Good work,

  1. ;) ....I heard about a photographer that takes pictures and then "forget" them a long period of time... And then, after a "clean and fresh" evaluation, exposing them if him still consider worth.

  2. I wonder what thinking a child at the first contact with the "degradation". I have also I two year old girl and I was tried to analyze her reaction on a similar subject but has no a "normal" reaction: no repulsion, afraid or compassion. So, I'm thinking: what is the "normal" reaction?

The first impression was very good but after I read the Ivan comment I don't know... ;)

No...! I think the orange side was a interesting choice and a good combination with the green in the rest. Maybe is not "the best picture" but is a good start...

Perfect exposure for that kind of picture. I can't figure where the sun is but you catch the best moment for a best contrast and full details.

I will make this comment because you have A LOT of "more than good" pictures... So, this one have a good subject and composition but the contrast and saturation is not strong enough - not as you usually use. But, overall, is a pleasant and interesting image and the composition is perfect.
