1.
Hi Len thanks for the response and the memories. You bought it in 1957, so I was about right with the date! I got the results back and was quite sad with them. It seems there is light getting into the camera, the last thing I thought would be wrong. I have removed the rear folding door and have stripped out the cord that is used to light seal. I have ordered new seal and will fit this and try again. I had one shot that was close to being ok, it was taken inside an aircraft hanger, it was very low light level and taken on a tripod, this may account for the lack of light entry. I will post it for you later. To make up for it a little I also put a roll of FP4 through a Zeiss Icon Nettar that I bought in very good condition and they are great. Will post a few if any interest. All the best to you Richard.

 2.
Hi Thanks for the help, I have found out that the LM was one of the first Reflex cameras Yashica made with a light meter, hence the "LM". It was made between 1956/57. Apart from what Mc. Keown say's the LM has a Yashicor lens as backed up by Marks directory of 1960. Well wish me luck men, I pick up the first results with this camera today, why am I so nervous lol. thanks for your interest. Richard

 3.
Hi to all from a site newbie in England.
Can anyone please tell me how to go about getting prints from 120 roll film negatives. I have lately added a Zeiss Icon Nettar 517/16 to my old camera collection. It is in mint condition so I want to get it working again. I have sourced the film, next day delivery great! I did use to process my own in my own darkroom when i was a lot younger so I understand the process. If i get the film processed by a lab, apart from getting a new enlarger and printing equipment, can I scan and reverse the negs somehow and then print them with my photo printer? I do have a 35mm neg and slide scanner so it must be possible. Any advice on equipment and the like would be much appreciated, Thanks Richard.

 4.
Thanks Bernard, that is a great help. I don't think our American friends are look upon as immigrants, a lot of your airmen flew from here during the last war and never returned home. On a lighter note lol, I did think I might try to re spool 120 to 620 spools myself but if I can buy it then all the better. Thanks very much for the links I have made a note of them all. Best regards Richard

 5.
Hi Starvy in sunny Wales, thanks for the response. This is a branch of my hobby that has only just started. I think in the back of my mind is the thought that I would like to develop B&W film again and print from that. I really don't know how to go about it yet. But it would be great to use these old cameras and get a good result from them. I used to use a twin lens reflex camera that I gave away years ago??? I remember the results from that were very good. I have just bought another on ebay (are we allowed to say that?) and await that now. Best regards Richard

 6.
Hi, I have just joined your forum, I am a retired London Fireman. I have always loved photography and at the moment use a Canon 40D. When I was a lot younger I built a darkroom on the side of my house, I love B&W photography and used to process my own film and print the results. This is a long winded way of asking for some advice. I have just started collecting old folding bellows type cameras. I have a couple I would like to identify, is film still available for 620 cameras? should I post a picture and questions on the Classic camera site. Thanks.
