Hello;
I'va a question: I would like to start with the LF, but I am undecided between two cameras: Toyo-View 45GII and Sinar P2. Which one?
Any suggestions?
I think I should consider the availability of accessories and so on...
Also suggestions about other cameras are welcome.

Thank you

Hello everybody,
can you recognize (and eventually give some tips about) this camera?

Thank you all

Hello,

I've found the old, entry-level Nikon F-401 owned by grandpa, but with no lenses.

I would like to know if actual lenses for (Nikon) full-frame DSLR would work with it.

Thank you so much for the support

Yes, 2000 but with the finder I think. The viewfinder is very expensive.

Hi friends,

I need an advice:
can a Hasselblad SWC/M, in mint condition, plus warranty (and A12 back), but without: box, lens hood and the viewfinder worth 1340.00 US dollars?

Thank you.

The problem is that Bronica RF shapes about taking vertical photos. I'm thinking about a Hassy Super Wide at hyperfocal. I just wonder if old models (50'-60') are good since those ones cost less.

The 667/667W are too expensive for me.

I'm still undecided: Mamiya 6 + 50mm or Hassy + 50mm.

Hi,
I would like to bring with me a camera in my journey (Germany, Sweden). I have a RZ67 with the L-grip but it's too big and heavy.
My friends are suggesting to buy a Contax G2, but I would like to stay with the medium format.
I have a broken Rolleiflex, so I could fix it, but I'm thinking about a Mamiya 6 MF with the 50mm or a Hasselbad with the 50mm.
What do you think about?

Thank you

Hi there;

I have a question; I've got a Metz 45CT-5. Old, but solid and powerful flash. I like it. I use it with a RZ67.
When I bought it, the seller told me not to use it with a (digital) Canon.

Since I would like to use it, I ask you:

is there any safe solution to use it without destroying my camera? Wireless triggers or something so?
Which stuff do I need to do that?

Thank you!

Hi,

I use a X synch cord, no the SCA adapter. No, direct light, no bounce flashing.

Yes, the RZ has a leaf shutter in its lenses and they have just the X setting, so no prob with M.

Yes; I've tried; the flash fires...

Pola is 100 ISO.

Thank you

Hello everybody.

I have a question. I recently bought a Mamiya RZ67 and it works fine, I like it.

Now, for my birthday, a friend of mine gave me a Metz 45CT-5 and I would like to use it, manual mode.

According to both the camera and the flash manuals I should use this formula to set the aperture = GN / distance flash-subject.

In my case: 45/3 = 15, so about 16. My question: how about shutter speed?

Should I use a light meter in AV and set the aperture to 16 to have the shutter speed? I played with that and tried with some Polaroids (I have a Pola back) but every photographs appears completely black.

What's wrong with that? How can I have a "daylight" photograph in a room with no light?

Thank you all for the help

Hello.
Here I am again; I am looking for a title about lightning/flash theory.
I think an old book (a 20-30 year old book) would be great since I use an old flash (a Metz 45CT-5) and a Mamiya RZ67.
Do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks

Hello,
I have a RZ and would like to use two or three studio flashes to take portraits, but I would like to use wires to connect the flashed to the camera (no wireless triggers).
Do you know how to connect more than one flash to the camera (via wires)?
Thank you so much for the help!

Hi,

do you know where I can find this:

Mamiya Slip-on Lens Cap for all RB, RZ and 645 Lenses using a 105mm Filter?
I need it for my 75mm shift for RZ67.

Mine was stolen today...

Thanks

Hello,
I've just bought a Mamiya RZ67 Pro. Arrived yesterday.
I have a question: when the R-M lever is at "Normal" position the shutter doesn't work.
I haven't loaded the film roll into the film holder, I'm just trying the mechanics.
Does it work just when the film roll is loaded?
If I set the lever to "Multiple Exposure" the shutter works.

Thank you

Hello.
I would like to know the disadvantages and limitations to use a MF lens (Zeiss for Hasselblad), with adapter, with a full frame Canon camera (EOS 6D).
Thanks

Hi,

can you suggest me a Zeiss lens (for a Hasselblad V system) to take body details, like noses, fingers, ears...

Thanks

Thank you all. This forum is amazing.

Hi, and thank you.

I'm asking if it is possible (of course yes, I think) and if it is useful and formative to start photographing with a large format camera, instead of a film/digital 35mm camera or a MF camera.

What do you think about? Which aspects would that involve?

Thanks

Thank you all. I think I'll buy a Pentax 67II with a 45mm F/4 and a 200mm F/4.

Hi,
I actually use a film 35mm camera (more than one) to take still life, portraits and landscapes.
Now I would like to get a MF film camera. I am uncertain about two cameras:
- Mamiya 7II
- Pentax 67II

Do you have any suggestions? My budget: 1000 EUR.

Thanks
