Macabre?
-
Nice, my only suggestion is to keep the stray hairs under control and get a smooth curve rather than a wave to the hair on the left.

I agree that there might a picture or two to be found here, but I would move closer so that the grass wasn't so distracting and so that the full (and meagre) extent of the pile was not so obvious. Maybe isolate parts of one or more of the most interesting?

Hardly zebra hidden amongst the savannah grasses, but amusing for its (perhaps intentional) parody of that cliche.
-
Clever abstraction. Pity about the lamp-post. Maybe try to find a better situation where all three points of the triangle have related elements (of course that's going to be hard).
-
Nice. Perhaps lacking in definition (bit fuzzy), and leans a little to the right. Maybe a tripod would help, if one was not used?

Looks ok, but in my opinion definitely a graphic arts project.

I have made such a device also, for my F90X.
Mine did not work until I added a pullup resistor from the camera data out line to the supply (ie about 10k from camera connector pin 5 to pin 3).

Like it.
Power-pole cross burning in the yellow flames of Hades? Pity about the red thing being so noticeable. I would like it even more if the pole was leaning over and the shot was taken at an angle; but I guess it isn't, wasn't and would be somewhat cliched if it were!

Great Shot.
And for the doubters I can assure you that during Autumn many sunsets on the Wimmera plains even down here in Victoria (a long way south of Sydney) have these amazing bands of white, magenta and blue. The colour of the sky in this picture is fairly close to reality, IMHO. The reflection in the water is darker and hence seems somewhat more saturated on film than is likely in reality.
So stop picking on the colours already! Come to Oz in Autumn and check the plains out for yourself.

Personally I would not crop the image. The square format is pleasing. However the rightmost tree is incomplete and that bothers me. It is perhaps just a touch too far to the right of the frame. Also, if it were possible it may have been better to try and find a viewpoint which separated the other two trees just a little more.

Nice. I like it anyway.
Kind of a pity that not all of the anvil is in focus; I find this a little distracting.
Also, given that the colours would all have been fairly subdued anyway, would not a colour shot have been effective? I know B+W is unfortunately so commonly used for this sort of image, but anyway...

Striking. Nice colour.
I too often wish for a telephoto shift lens: maybe an obvious tilt would have made the convergence appear deliberate rather than an unfortunate compromise? Just watch out for that distracting highlight in the bottom right corner.

A nice scene, but a little cluttered. If it were possible, it may have been better to isolate the castle (perhaps including the white railing/river). As a side benefit, this may have allowed slightly less exposure on the castle also, to bring out more detail and colour, as there would have been no need to compensate for the dark vegetation in the foreground.
Alternatively, if you could not approach closer, framing closer with a longer lens and including just the tops of the lighter green trees in the foreground (have to walk right) may have looked more imposing.
The rickety circular fence in the foreground is probably worth a shot of its own. It does not add to the castle, in my opinion.
