In response to your rant against 3/3 ratings I went to see your portfolio. This isn't meant to be abusive, but I rated this a 3/3. On aesthetic issues I am bothered by the lack of sharp focus in a wildlife photo such as this. The contrast is too high, as it is obscuring the details of the duck (I can't see the eyes in the shadows of the sockets for example). In addition the close overhanging leaves are distracting. Finally on originality (I hate this rating): your picture isn't original, but that isn't a always a bad thing. If you cleaned up the technical issues it could still be a good picture of a duck and duckling, even if there a tons of them out there.

I just keep staring at this shot. I like its' odd elements. I just wish you had gotten lower to not have the closer bear's head chopped.

 

 

Very nice. I like that you shot it from behind, almost as if it is embarrassed to be seen.

Great shot. Nice idea for a pose, his expression is right for the pose as well.

Not bad, but I like your "Profile" shot from the same shoot better. I guess the expression isn't as interesting to me in this one.

I like the colors and pattern, though it looks like a dusty scan.

I think the framing is perfect.
