With the constraint of a very slow shutter speed with my BT and other box cameras, I have had a lot of success using Kodak T400CN chromogenic B&W film, with which you can get reasonably good images at anywhere betweeen ISO 200 and 620 (or 800, if you ain't picky). Getting this 120-size c41 film processed is no problem; I have no difficulties with color-cast, since my (independent, non-chain) one-hour lab prints it on b&w paper. Give it a try!

Second the suggestion to call Mark Hama. He's good, he's fast, he's cheap.

And finally, may I offer:
Some Yachicamats are prone to developing a problem with cable release. I use two 124Gs on a sliding bar for stereo photography, and have a double cable which releases the shutters simultaneously.
One camera suddenly began to stop firing, though the "button" release continued to work fine. As it happens, there is an internal part which is engaged by the cable release plunger that can become worn or stuck. The cost of fixing this problem at my local shop was $100 USD, since some labor was involved in disassembly to reach the problem. Since that time, I have used Mr. Mark Hama (formerly of Yashica) for all my repairs - his prices are better, and his expertise is unmatched. You can visit his Web site at http://markhama.com. His turnaround time is very swift, and his work is guaranteed.

Dave ~ are you using a lens hood or filter on your "taking" lens?

Hello - I'm wondering if it's possible to strip the 75-85 mm
lens/shutter from a better old rollfilm camera in otherwise
unredeemable shape, and mount it to a (recessed?) lensboard for use
with a Century 2x3 using 6x7 and 6x9 backs. Have looked thru the MF
library and other sites, but find few references. Has anyone out
there tried this?
Thanks!

Does anyone know of a site detailing the various models of the

I'm seeking input from anyone with recent experience with Hartblei MF
products, now offered both through their own website and through (I
think) Kiev Cam. Hartblei's "remanufacturing" was glowingly reviewed
in the last (?) of a series of Shutterbug articles about
Russian/Ukranian MF products. Bodies, lenses, and accesories all
received very high marks as to performance and reliabilty, and at
bargain-basement prices. I am a little uneasy; if they are truly that
good, why haven't they gained greater acceptance? Postings in this
Forum are a little bit dated; before I sell-off a bunch of stuff to
take the plunge, I'd appreciate hearing how their gear and the
company itself has performed in the real world of late. Thanks to
all in advance!
