1. 24-70. Back in the day when I was a wedding photographer I can remember missing quit

few shots changing lenes. Give your coustomer more better shots. If you need more lenses get

the 14-24 and the 70-200 2.8, you should be happy for the rest of your life, even if your 15 years old.

  2.
Steve. The Best way to get a good exposure is to set the camera on manual iso 6400 2.8 at 1/600 sec. This should get you close Then ajust In 1/3 shutter speed increments to get the exposure. This will work in other gyms as well

00bHvX-516475584.JPG.9bba51c5fdf0c02b48f21e79877a3707.JPG

  3. Thanks for helping me make a decision on lighting. I got 2 alien Bee 800s for outdoor shoots as well as

indoor for team & Idividual work. I would like to be able to get the dramtic side light effect. 1 light at 45

degrees and 1 from the side. Right? And should I get barn doors to control the side light.Should I shoot

with open flash when out doors and will I have enough light for the team shot. I shoot with A D-700 and

could shot a higher iso if needed. Thanks again.

  4. Thanks. Everyone has had a peice of my puzzle so far. What Size genorater should I look for, for the lights we have talked about.Umbrellas are out do to wind, still shoot open with three lights for the team shots and the individual shots, rember the hair light
  5. I will only be shooting one or two teams a day if that makes a differnce. What about 2 vivitar 285s with my sb-900 and baby a sb-400. I know I need stands that hold my flashes. I'm thinking I need at least three I like to put a back lite on the hair when posible. Shooting into the sun I would shoot open flash to have enough power, right ? mabe. I also need to know what to get to fire the flashes. Just a idea to keep it cheep to start with.
